Crystalkey is owned and operated by Teresa Cacka with the support of her husband Willy. We are located in Cawston, BC just north of Osoyoos and south of Keremeos. Here in the sunny Okanagan, we enjoy the many dog-friendly beaches and dog parks that Cawston has to offer. Our goal is to produce beautiful, sound, and healthy Shiba Inu. All puppies are whelped in our house and raised in our home around our children. I feel that socializing is the most important aspect of raising a great puppy. It is essential that these puppies go to good homes that will love them and care for them as much as I do. I absolutely love these dogs. I am an active member of the Vernon and District Kennel Club and the Canadian Kennel Club. My son is a big help with the dogs and enjoys Junior Handling. We like to show our dogs and enjoy the support that we get from other breeders. We feel that it is important to have support from other breeders and from vets because there are things that we can learn from each other. If I can’t answer your questions, there is a good chance that I know someone who can. I like to take the time to go to seminars and learn more about how to be the best caregiver for my dogs and puppies that I can. I would like for everyone to experience this fun and active breed, but the Shiba Inu is not for everyone. Please, be sure you do some research before you decide to buy one of these independent dogs.
